T H (Taa Haa)
135 verses, revealed in Mecca after Mary (Maryam) before The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Ta' Ha' (1) We have not Sent down on thee the Qur'an that thou shouldst be distressed. (2) but as a reminder to he who fears. (3) a revelation from Him who has created the earth and the high heavens (4) The Most Beneficent (Allah) Istawa (rose over) the (Mighty) Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). (5) To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth, all that lies between them, and lies below the earth. (6) And if you (O Muhammad SAW) speak (the invocation) aloud, then verily, He knows the secret and that which is yet more hidden. (7) Allah, there is no god except He. To Him belong the most Beautiful Names. (8) Have you heard the story of Moses? (9) When he saw a fire and said unto his folk: Lo! Wait! I see a fire afar off. Peradventure I may bring you a brand therefrom or may find guidance at the fire. (10) And when he came to it, he was called, "O Moses, (11) I am thy Lord; put off thy shoes; thou art in the holy valley, Towa. (12) I have chosen you. Therefore, listen to what shall be revealed. (13) "Verily, I am Allah: There is no god but I: So serve thou Me (only), and establish regular prayer for celebrating My praise. (14) Although it is certain that the Day of Judgment will come, I prefer to keep it almost a secret so that every soul will receive the recompense for what it has done (on its own). (15) So do not let one avert you from it who does not believe in it and follows his desire, for you [then] would perish. (16) “And what is this in your right hand, O Moosa?” (17) He answered: "It is my staff; I lean on it; and with it I beat down leaves for my sheep; and [many] other uses have I for it." (18) He said: 'Moses, cast it down' (19) So he threw it down, and lo, it became a running serpent. (20) "Catch it," said He, "and have no fear; We shall revert it to its former state. (21) And draw in your hand to your side; it will come out white without disease - another sign, (22) So We would show thee some of Our greatest signs. (23) "Go thou to Pharaoh, for he has indeed transgressed all bounds." (24)
