T H (Taa Haa)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Ha. (1) We have not revealed the Quran to you that you may be unsuccessful. (2) Nay, it is a reminder to him who fears: (3) A down-sent from Him who Created the earth and the heavens high. (4) The Beneficent Allah is firm in power. (5) To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth, all that lies between them, and lies below the earth. (6) And if you (O Muhammad SAW) speak (the invocation) aloud, then verily, He knows the secret and that which is yet more hidden. (7) God -- there is no god but He. To Him belong the Names Most Beautiful. (8) Has the story of Moses reached you? (9) When he saw a fire he said to his family: "You wait here. I have seen a fire. I may haply be able to bring an ember from it, or find direction by the fire." (10) When he came to it, a voice called out: "Moses! (11) Verily, I am thy Sustainer! Take off, then, thy sandals! Behold, thou art in the twice hallowed valley, (12) And I have chosen thee, so hearken unto that which is inspired. (13) Verily I! I am Allah! no God there is but I; so worship Me, and establish prayer for My remembrance. (14) Lo! the Hour is surely coming. But I will to keep it hidden, that every soul may be rewarded for that which it striveth (to achieve). (15) "Therefore let not such as believe not therein but follow their own lusts, divert thee therefrom, lest thou perish!".. (16) What is that in your right hand, Moses' (17) He replied, "It is my staff. I lean on it, bring down leaves for my sheep with it and I need it for other reasons. (18) "Throw it down, O Moses," said (the Voice). (19) So he threw it down, and thereupon it was a snake, moving swiftly. (20) Allah said:"Grasp it, and fear not, We shall return it to its former state, (21) “And put your hand inside your armpit it will come out shining white, not due to any illness one more sign.” (22) so that We might make thee aware of some of Our greatest wonders. (23) "Go thou to Pharaoh, for he has indeed transgressed all bounds." (24)
