T H (Taa Haa)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ TaHa. (1) We have sent the Quran only as reminder (2) Except as a reminder for one who fears. (3) it is a revelation from Him who has created the earth and the high heavens, (4) The Beneficent God is dominant over the Throne (of the realm). (5) To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth, and all that lies between them, and underneath the soil. (6) And if thou speakest the word aloud, then verily He knoweth the secret and the most hidden. (7) Allah-- there is no god but He; His are the very best names. (8) Has the story of Moses reached you? (9) When he saw a fire and said unto his folk: Lo! Wait! I see a fire afar off. Peradventure I may bring you a brand therefrom or may find guidance at the fire. (10) And when he came to it, he was called, "O Moses, (11) I am your Lord! Take off your sandals, for you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa. (12) and I have chosen thee [to be My apostle]: listen, then, to what is being revealed [unto thee]. (13) "Verily, I - I alone - am God; there is no deity save Me. Hence, worship Me alone, and be constant in prayer, so as to remember Me! (14) "Behold, [although] I have willed to keep it hidden, the Last Hour is bound to come, so that every human being may be recompensed in accordance with what he strove for [in life]. (15) So let not him who believeth not therein and followeth his own desire keep thee away therefrom lest thou perish. (16) “And what is this in your right hand, O Moosa?” (17) He replied, "It is my staff. I lean on it, and with it, I beat down the leaves for my flock; I also have other uses for it." (18) He said: Cast it down, O Moses! (19) He threw it, and behold! It was a snake, active in motion. (20) Said He: "Take hold of it, and fear not: We shall restore it to its former state. (21) "Now - as another Sign - place your hand under your arm and it will come out sheer white without harm (or stain). (22) That We may show you [some] of Our greater signs. (23) Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed." (24)
