T H (Taa Haa)
135 verses, revealed in Mecca after Mary (Maryam) before The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Ta-Ha. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] (1) We have not sent down the Quran unto you (O Muhammad SAW) to cause you distress, (2) but only as a reminder to him who tears, (3) it is a revelation from Him who has created the earth and the high heavens, (4) (Allah) Most Gracious is firmly established on the throne (of authority). (5) Unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth, as well as all that is between them and all that is beneath the sod. (6) Be thou loud in thy speech, yet surely He knows the secret and that yet more hidden. (7) God - there is no deity save Him; His [alone] are the attributes of perfection! (8) And has there come to you the story of Musa (Moses)? (9) When he saw a fire, he said to his family, "Wait here. I can see a fire. Perhaps I can bring you a brand from it, or find some guidance at the fire." (10) When he came to it, a voice cried, 'Moses, (11) Indeed, I am your Lord, so remove your sandals. Indeed, you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa. (12) "I have chosen thee: listen, then, to the inspiration (sent to thee). (13) I Am the only God. Worship Me and be steadfast in prayer to have My name always in your mind. (14) "Verily the Hour is coming - My design is to keep it hidden - for every soul to receive its reward by the measure of its Endeavour. (15) Let him who does not believe in it and follows his lust not turn your thought away from it, lest you are ruined. (16) "And what is that in the right hand, O Moses?" (17) He said, "It is my rod: on it I lean; with it I beat down fodder for my flocks; and in it I find other uses." (18) Said He, 'Cast it down, Moses!' (19) Moses threw it on the ground and suddenly he saw that it was a moving serpent. (20) 'Take it, and do not fear' He said, 'We will restore it to its former state. (21) And press thy hand to thy side, it will come forth white, without hurt, as another sign. (22) That We may show thee (some) of Our greater portents, (23) Go to the Pharaoh as he has become exceedingly rebellious." (24)
