Hizb 32
Juz 16
T H (Taa Haa)
135 verses, revealed in Mecca after Mary (Maryam) before The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta' Ha' (1) We have not sent the Quran down to you to distress you, (2) but only as a reminder to him who tears, (3) A revelation from Him (Allah) Who has created the earth and high heavens. (4) The Beneficent Allah is firm in power. (5) To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on the earth, and all that is between them, and all that is under the soil. (6) Whether you speak out aloud (or in a low voice), He knows what is said secretly, and even that which is most hidden. (7) God -- there is no god but He. To Him belong the Names Most Beautiful. (8) Hast thou received the story of Moses? (9) Recall what time he saw a fire and said to his household, bide ye! verily I have perceived a fire! haply I may bring you from it a brand or may find at the fire a guidance. (10) So when he came near the fire, it was announced, “O Moosa!” (11) Indeed, I am your Lord, so remove your sandals. Indeed, you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa. (12) I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed to you. (13) Lo! I, even I, am Allah, There is no Allah save Me. So serve Me and establish worship for My remembrance. (14) Although it is certain that the Day of Judgment will come, I prefer to keep it almost a secret so that every soul will receive the recompense for what it has done (on its own). (15) So let not him who believeth not therein and followeth his own desire keep thee away therefrom lest thou perish. (16) "Now, what is this in thy right hand, O Moses?" (17) He said, "It is my staff; I lean upon it, and I bring down leaves for my sheep and I have therein other uses." (18) The Lord said, "Moses, throw it on the ground". (19) So he threw it down, and lo, it became a running serpent. (20) He said: Take hold of it and fear not; We will restore it to its former state: (21) And face what is to come with patience, your hand will not be tarnished with blame: Another sign (22) That We may show you [some] of Our greater signs. (23) Go to Firon, surely he has exceeded all limits. (24)
