T H (Taa Haa)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta Ha (1) We have not sent down the Koran to you for you to be tired, (2) Nay, it is a reminder to him who fears: (3) A revelation from Him who created the earth and the high ascending skies, (4) The Most Compassionate Lord is settled on the Throne (of the Universe). (5) To Him belongs what is in the heavens and on earth, and all between them, and all beneath the soil. (6) Be thou loud in thy speech, yet surely He knows the secret and that yet more hidden. (7) Allah! La ilahla illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He)! To Him belong the Best Names. (8) AND HAS the story of Moses ever come within thy ken? (9) Behold, he saw a fire: So he said to his family, "Tarry ye; I perceive a fire; perhaps I can bring you some burning brand therefrom, or find some guidance at the fire." (10) So when he came near the fire, it was announced, “O Moosa!” (11) "Verily I am thy Lord! therefore (in My presence) put off thy shoes: thou art in the sacred valley Tuwa. (12) "I have chosen thee: listen, then, to the inspiration (sent to thee). (13) "Verily! I am Allah! La ilaha illa Ana (none has the right to be worshipped but I), so worship Me, and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) for My Remembrance. (14) The Hour is coming; I would conceal it that every soul may be recompensed for its labours. (15) Therefor, let not him turn thee aside from (the thought of) it who believeth not therein but followeth his own desire, lest thou perish. (16) And what is that in thy right hand, O Moses? (17) He said: it is my staff; I lean there on; and therewith beat down fodder for my sheep; and for me therein are other purposes. (18) He said: 'Moses, cast it down' (19) So he cast it down; and lo! it was a serpent running. (20) Said He, 'Take it, and fear not; We will restore it to its first state. (21) "Now place thy hand within thy armpit: it will come forth [shining] white, without blemish, as another sign [of Our grace,] (22) We shall show you some of Our greatest signs. (23) Go to Pharaoh; he has waxed insolent.' (24)
