T H (Taa Haa)
135 verses, revealed in Mecca after Mary (Maryam) before The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Ha.* (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) (Alphabets of the Arabic language Allah and to whomever He reveals know their precise meanings.) (1) We have not sent down the Qur'an to thee to be (an occasion) for thy distress, (2) but as a reminder to he who fears. (3) It is a revelation from the Creator of the earth and the high heavens. (4) The Compassionate on the Throne is established. (5) His is whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever on the earth and whatsoever is in between and whatsoever is underneath the earth. (6) Whether you speak out aloud (or in a low voice), He knows what is said secretly, and even that which is most hidden. (7) Allah - there is no god but He. His are the most excellent names. (8) And did the news of Moosa reach you? (9) Recall what time he saw a fire and said to his household, bide ye! verily I have perceived a fire! haply I may bring you from it a brand or may find at the fire a guidance. (10) And when he came to it (the fire), he was called by name: "O Musa (Moses)! (11) Lo! I, even I, am thy Lord, So take off thy shoes, for lo! thou art in the holy valley of Tuwa. (12) And I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed [to you]. (13) "Verily, I am Allah: There is no god but I: So serve thou Me (only), and establish regular prayer for celebrating My praise. (14) The Hour of Resurrection is coming. I have willed to keep the time of its coming hidden so that everyone may be recompensed in accordance with his effort. (15) Let him who does not believe in it and follows his lust not turn your thought away from it, lest you are ruined. (16) And what is that in your right hand, O Moses?" (17) He said: it is my staff; I lean there on; and therewith beat down fodder for my sheep; and for me therein are other purposes. (18) He said: Cast it down, O Moses! (19) So he cast it down; and lo! it was a serpent running. (20) 'Take it, and do not fear' He said, 'We will restore it to its former state. (21) And face what is to come with patience, your hand will not be tarnished with blame: Another sign (22) “In order that We may show you Our great signs.” (23) "Go to Fir'aun (Pharaoh)! Verily, he has transgressed (all bounds in disbelief and disobedience, and has behaved as an arrogant, and as a tyrant)." (24)
