T H (Taa Haa)
135 verses, revealed in Mecca after Mary (Maryam) before The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Ta' Ha' (1) We have sent the Quran only as reminder (2) But as admonition for him who fears -- (3) a revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens. (4) The ever-merciful, established on the throne (of authority). (5) His is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth and what is between them two and what is beneath the ground. (6) Be thou loud in thy speech, yet surely He knows the secret and that yet more hidden. (7) Allah there is no worship except for Him; His only are the best names. (8) (Muhammad), have you heard the story of Moses? (9) When he saw the fire, he said to his family, "Wait here for I can see a fire. Perhaps I shall bring you a burning torch or find a way to some fire". (10) When he approached it, a voice called out: (11) "Verily I am thy Lord! therefore (in My presence) put off thy shoes: thou art in the sacred valley Tuwa. (12) And I! I have chosen thee, hearken thou then to that which shall be revealed. (13) "Verily, I am Allah: There is no god but I: So serve thou Me (only), and establish regular prayer for celebrating My praise. (14) Lo! the Hour is surely coming. But I will to keep it hidden, that every soul may be rewarded for that which it striveth (to achieve). (15) Let not the unbelievers who follow their vain desires make you forget the Day of Judgment, lest you will perish." (16) And what is that in thy right hand, O Moses? (17) He said, "It is my staff; I lean upon it, and I bring down leaves for my sheep and I have therein other uses." (18) He said, “Put it down, O Moosa! (19) So he cast it down, and thereupon it turned into a sliding serpent. (20) He said: Take hold of it and fear not; We will restore it to its former state: (21) And place your hand in your armpit, it will come forth shining white, without blemish. This is another Sign of Allah, (22) “In order that We may show you Our great signs.” (23) Go to the Pharaoh as he has become exceedingly rebellious." (24)
