T H (Taa Haa)
135 verses, revealed in Mecca after Mary (Maryam) before The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta, Ha. (1) We have not sent down the Koran to you for you to be tired, (2) it is only a reminder for him who fears Allah; (3) A revelation from He who created the earth and highest heavens, (4) The Most Gracious Who, befitting His Majesty, took to the Throne (of control). (5) To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and all that is in between, and all that is beneath the soil. (6) Whether you speak aloud [or in a low voice], He hears all, for He knows your secrets and what is even more hidden. (7) God: There is no god but He. To Him belong the attributes most beautiful. (8) (Muhammad), have you heard the story of Moses? (9) When he saw a fire and said unto his folk: Lo! Wait! I see a fire afar off. Peradventure I may bring you a brand therefrom or may find guidance at the fire. (10) But when he came close to it, a voice called out: "O Moses! (11) I am your Lord! Take off your sandals, for you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa. (12) and I have chosen thee [to be My apostle]: listen, then, to what is being revealed [unto thee]. (13) I am God. There is no deity save Me; so worship Me alone, and say your prayers in My remembrance. (14) Verily the Hour is coming - I wish to conceal it - in order that every one may be requited according to that which he hath endeavoured. (15) Hence, let not anyone who does not believe in its coming and follows [but] his own desires divert thee from [belief in] it, lest thou perish! (16) And what is that in thy right hand, O Moses? (17) He said, “This is my staff; I support myself on it, and I knock down leaves for my sheep with it, and there are other uses for me in it.” (18) He said: "Moses, throw it down." (19) So he threw it down, and thereupon it was a snake, moving swiftly. (20) He said: Take hold of it and fear not; We will restore it to its former state: (21) “And put your hand inside your armpit it will come out shining white, not due to any illness one more sign.” (22) “In order that We may show you Our great signs.” (23) "Go to Fir'aun (Pharaoh)! Verily, he has transgressed (all bounds in disbelief and disobedience, and has behaved as an arrogant, and as a tyrant)." (24)
