T H (Taa Haa)
135 verses, revealed in Mecca after Mary (Maryam) before The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta Ha. (1) We have sent the Quran only as reminder (2) for those who have fear (of disobeying God), not to make you, (Muhammad), miserable. (3) a revelation from Him who created the earth and the high heavens; (4) The Beneficent God is dominant over the Throne (of the realm). (5) Whatever is in the heavens and the earth and in between them, belongs to Him, as whatever lies under the earth. (6) And if you speak aloud so He surely knows the secret and that which is more concealed. (7) Allah - there is no god but He. His are the most excellent names. (8) Has the story of Moses come to you? (9) When he saw a fire and said to his family: "Hold on! I have just perceived a fire; perhaps I will bring a brand from it for you, or I will find some guidance at the fire about the way to follow." (10) And when he reached it, he was called by name: O Moses! (11) I am thy Lord; put off thy shoes; thou art in the holy valley, Towa. (12) "I have chosen thee: listen, then, to the inspiration (sent to thee). (13) "Verily, I am Allah: There is no god but I: So serve thou Me (only), and establish regular prayer for celebrating My praise. (14) The Hour is coming. But I choose to keep it hidden, so that every human being may be recompensed in accordance with his labours. (15) Hence, let not anyone who does not believe in its coming and follows [but] his own desires divert thee from [belief in] it, lest thou perish! (16) "And what is that in your right hand, O Musa (Moses)?" (17) He said, "It is my rod: on it I lean; with it I beat down fodder for my flocks; and in it I find other uses." (18) Allah said: cast it down, O Musa! (19) So he cast it down, and lo! it was a serpent, gliding. (20) Allah said:"Grasp it, and fear not, We shall return it to its former state, (21) “And put your hand inside your armpit it will come out shining white, not due to any illness one more sign.” (22) "That We may show you (some) of Our Greater Signs. (23) Go to Pharaoh; he has waxed insolent.' (24)
