Hizb 32
Juz 16
T H (Taa Haa)
135 verses, revealed in Mecca after Mary (Maryam) before The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Ha. (1) We have not sent the Quran down to you to distress you, (2) But only as a reminder for those who fear [Allah] - (3) a revelation from Him who has created the earth and the high heavens (4) The Most Gracious Who, befitting His Majesty, took to the Throne (of control). (5) To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and all that is in between, and all that is beneath the soil. (6) Whether you say a thing aloud or inaudibly, He has knowledge of the secret and the hidden. (7) Allah! La ilahla illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He)! To Him belong the Best Names. (8) Hast thou received the story of Moses? (9) Behold, he saw a fire: So he said to his family, "Tarry ye; I perceive a fire; perhaps I can bring you some burning brand therefrom, or find some guidance at the fire." (10) And when he came to it (the fire), he was called by name: "O Musa (Moses)! (11) Verily I am your Lord! Take off your shoes. You are in the sacred valley, Tuwa! (12) and I have chosen thee [to be My apostle]: listen, then, to what is being revealed [unto thee]. (13) Verily I! I am Allah! no God there is but I; so worship Me, and establish prayer for My remembrance. (14) Verily the Hour is coming - I wish to conceal it - in order that every one may be requited according to that which he hath endeavoured. (15) Let him who does not believe in it and follows his lust not turn your thought away from it, lest you are ruined. (16) And what is that in thy right hand, O Moses? (17) He said: This is my staff: I recline on it and I beat the leaves with it to make them fall upon my sheep, and I have other uses for it. (18) "Throw it down, O Moses," said (the Voice). (19) Moses threw it on the ground and suddenly he saw that it was a moving serpent. (20) Said He: "Take hold of it, and fear not: We shall restore it to its former state. (21) And place your hand in your armpit, it will come forth shining white, without blemish. This is another Sign of Allah, (22) That We may show you [some] of Our greater signs. (23) Go to Pharaoh; he has transgressed all bounds." (24)
