In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Ta Ha. (1) We have not sent down the Koran to you for you to be tired, (2) it is only a reminder for him who fears Allah; (3) A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens, (4) the Merciful willed to the Throne. (5) To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and whatever lies in between them, and all that lies under the ground. (6) And if thou speakest aloud, then lo! He knoweth the secret (thought) and (that which is yet) more hidden. (7) God: There is no god but He. To Him belong the attributes most beautiful. (8) Has the story of Moses come to you? (9) When he saw the fire, he said to his family, "Wait here for I can see a fire. Perhaps I shall bring you a burning torch or find a way to some fire". (10) So when he came near the fire, it was announced, “O Moosa!” (11) Surely I am your Lord, therefore put off your shoes; surely you are in the sacred valley, Tuwa, (12) "And I have chosen you. So listen to that which is inspired to you. (13) Indeed, I am Allah. There is no god except Me. Worship Me, and establish the prayer of My remembrance. (14) "Verily the Hour is coming - My design is to keep it hidden - for every soul to receive its reward by the measure of its Endeavour. (15) Therefor, let not him turn thee aside from (the thought of) it who believeth not therein but followeth his own desire, lest thou perish. (16) And what is that in your right hand, O Moses?" (17) He replied, "It is my staff. I lean on it, bring down leaves for my sheep with it and I need it for other reasons. (18) He said: 'Moses, cast it down' (19) So Moosa put it down thereupon it became a fast moving serpent. (20) Allah said:"Grasp it, and fear not, We shall return it to its former state, (21) And face what is to come with patience, your hand will not be tarnished with blame: Another sign (22) That We may show you of Our greater signs: (23) "Go thou to Pharaoh, for he has indeed transgressed all bounds."
