T H (Taa Haa)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ TA HA. (1) We have not sent down the Quran unto you (O Muhammad SAW) to cause you distress, (2) it is only a reminder for him who fears Allah; (3) A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens. (4) the All Merciful settled on the throne. (5) Unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth, as well as all that is between them and all that is beneath the sod. (6) If thou pronounce the word aloud, (it is no matter): for verily He knoweth what is secret and what is yet more hidden. (7) Allah! There is no Allah save Him. His are the most beautiful names. (8) Hast thou received the story of Moses? (9) When he saw a fire, he said to his family, "Wait here. I can see a fire. Perhaps I can bring you a brand from it, or find some guidance at the fire." (10) When he came to it, a voice called out: "Moses! (11) Lo! I, even I, am thy Lord, So take off thy shoes, for lo! thou art in the holy valley of Tuwa. (12) I have chosen you as My Messengers. Listen to the revelation. (13) I Am the only God. Worship Me and be steadfast in prayer to have My name always in your mind. (14) Lo! the Hour is surely coming. But I will to keep it hidden, that every soul may be rewarded for that which it striveth (to achieve). (15) Therefor, let not him turn thee aside from (the thought of) it who believeth not therein but followeth his own desire, lest thou perish. (16) And what is that in your right hand, O Moses?" (17) He answered: "It is my staff; I lean on it; and with it I beat down leaves for my sheep; and [many] other uses have I for it." (18) The Lord said, "Moses, throw it on the ground". (19) So Moosa put it down thereupon it became a fast moving serpent. (20) Said He: "Take hold of it, and fear not: We shall restore it to its former state. (21) And face what is to come with patience, your hand will not be tarnished with blame: Another sign (22) That We may show thee (some) of Our greater portents, (23) "[And now] go thou unto Pharaoh: for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of equity.
