Tell also of Moses in the Book. He was indeed a chosen one, and was a messenger and a prophet. (51) We called him from the right side of the Mount, and brought him close for communion; (52) And, out of Our Mercy, We gave him his brother Aaron, (also) a prophet. (53) And mention thou in the Book lsma'il; verily he was true in promise, and was apostle, prophet. (54) He used to command his people to offer prayer and give charity, and was liked by his Lord. (55) And recite in the Book the account of Idris. He was a man of truth, a Prophet; (56) We raised him to a high position. (57) These are they whom God has blessed among the Prophets of the seed of Adam, and of those We bore with Noah, and of the seed of Abraham and Israel, and of those We guided and chose. When the signs of the All-merciful were recited to them, they fell down prostrate, weeping. ۩ (58) ۞ Now there hath succeeded them a later generation whom have ruined worship and have followed lusts. But they will meet deception. (59) Excepting those who may repent and believe and work righteously; these shall enter the Garden and shall not be wronged at all (60) Theirs shall be the Gardens of Eden, which the All Merciful has promised to His servants without their having seen them, and most surely His promise shall be fulfilled. (61) They hear therein no idle talk, but only Peace; and therein they have food for morn and evening. (62) Such is the Paradise which We shall give as an inheritance to those of Our slaves who have been Al-Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - See V. 2:2). (63) [Gabriel said], "And we [angels] descend not except by the order of your Lord. To Him belongs that before us and that behind us and what is in between. And never is your Lord forgetful - (64) Lord of the heavens and the earth and that which is betwixt the twain; so Him worship thou, and endure patiently in His worship; knowest thou any as His compeer?
