(Consider) when Moses said to his young companion, "I shall continue travelling until I reach the junction of the two seas or have travelled for many years". (60) But when they reached the junction of the two seas, they forgot their fish, and it took its way through the sea as in a tunnel. (61) When they had passed on (some distance), Moses said to his attendant: "Bring us our early meal; truly we have suffered much fatigue at this (stage of) our journey." (62) He said: "You see, I forgot the fish on the rock where we had stopped. Only Satan made me forget to mention this; but the wonder is the fish escaped to the sea." (63) Moses said: "But that is exactly what we were seeking." So they retraced their steps. (64) So they found one of Our servants, on whom We had bestowed Mercy from Ourselves and whom We had taught knowledge from Our own Presence. (65) Moses said to him: 'May I follow you so that you can teach me of that you have learned of righteousness' (66) He said: Lo! thou canst not bear with me. (67) "How can you bear that which is beyond your comprehension?" (68) Moses said, "God willing, you will find me patient, and I will not disobey you in any thing." (69) He (Khidr) said: "Then, if you follow me, ask me not about anything till I myself mention it to you." (70)
