To Moses We gave nine illustrious miracles. Ask the Israelites; Moses came to them. The Pharaoh said to him,"Moses, I believe that you are bewitched". (101) [Moses] said, "You have already known that none has sent down these [signs] except the Lord of the heavens and the earth as evidence, and indeed I think, O Pharaoh, that you are destroyed." (102) Pharaoh sought to provoke them so that they would leave the land, but We drowned him, together with all who were with him. (103) After this We told the children of Israel: "Dwell in the land. When the promise of reckoning comes, We shall bring you together from a motley crowd. (104) AND AS a guide towards the truth have We bestowed this [revelation] from on high; with this [very] truth has it come down [unto thee, O Prophet]: for We have sent thee but as a herald of glad tidings and a warner, (105) We have revealed the Quran bit by bit so that you may recite it to the people slowly and with deliberation. We have imparted it by gradual revelation. (106) Say: "Believe in it or do not believe: Those who were given knowledge before it bow in adoration when it is read out to them, (107) And they say, "Exalted is our Lord! Indeed, the promise of our Lord has been fulfilled." (108) They fall down on their faces, weeping, and it increaseth humility in them. ۩ (109) Say, "Call upon Allah or call upon the Most Merciful. Whichever [name] you call - to Him belong the best names." And do not recite [too] loudly in your prayer or [too] quietly but seek between that an [intermediate] way. (110) And say: "All praise be to Allah Who has neither taken to Himself a son, nor has He any partner in His kingdom, nor does He need anyone, out of weakness, to protect Him." So glorify Him in a manner worthy of His glory. (111)
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Night Journey (Al-Isra). Sent down in Mecca after Stories (Al-Qasas) before Jonah (Younus)
