Perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) from mid-day till the darkness of the night (i.e. the Zuhr, 'Asr, Maghrib, and 'Isha' prayers), and recite the Quran in the early dawn (i.e. the morning prayer). Verily, the recitation of the Quran in the early dawn is ever witnessed (attended by the angels in charge of mankind of the day and the night). 78 Say a supererogatory prayer at the hour of the first watch: Your Lord may raise you to a most exalted station. 79 And pray: "O my Lord, let my entry be with honour, and let my exit be with honour, and grant me power from You which would help (sustain) me." 80 And say: 'The truth has come, and falsehood has vanished away; surely falsehood is ever certain to vanish.' 81 And We reveal of the Qur'an that which is a healing and a mercy for believers though it increase the evil-doers in naught save ruin. 82 When We bestow a favour upon a person, he turns his back and draws aside; and when evil afflicts him he gives himself up to despair. 83 Say: "Each one acts according to his disposition, but your Lord knows well who follow the right path." 84
