Juz 14
When the Messengers came to the family of Lot, (61) He said: "Ye appear to be uncommon folk." (62) They said, "But we have come to you with that about which they were disputing, (63) We truly tell you that we have brought to you the Truth. (64) "Then travel in a part of the night with your family, and you go behind them in the rear, and let no one amongst you look back, but go on to where you are ordered." (65) And We decreed for him that commandment, that the last remnant of those should be cut off in the morning. (66) The people of the town came along, revelling, (67) and he told them, "These are my guests, so do not disgrace me. (68) “And fear Allah and do not disgrace me.” (69) They said: forbade we not thee against the worlds? (70) [Lout (Lot)] said: "These (the girls of the nation) are my daughters (to marry lawfully), if you must act (so)." (71) By your life! In their drunkenness they were truly blind. (72) Therefore the scream overcame them at sunrise. (73) And We turned (the towns of Sodom in Palestine) upside down and rained down on them stones of baked clay. (74) Surely in that are signs for such as mark; (75) And verily they are on a pathway lasting. (76) Surely, in that there is a sign for those who believe. (77) And the dwellers in the wood indeed were evil-doers. (78) and We took vengeance on them. The two of them were upon a roadway manifest. (79)
