Believers, fight the unbelievers who are near you. Let them find firmness in you. Know that Allah is with those who are cautious. (123) And whenever there comes down a Surah (chapter from the Quran), some of them (hypocrites) say: "Which of you has had his Faith increased by it?" As for those who believe, it has increased their Faith, and they rejoice. (124) But it adds disbelief to disbelief for those whose hearts are filled with doubt, and they die disbelieving. (125) Do they not see that they are tried every year once or twice? Yet still they do not repent, nor do they remember. (126) And whenever a Surah is sent down they look on at each other as though saying: observeth you anyone? Thereafter they turn to go; Allah hath turned their hearts, for verily they are people who understand not. (127) Indeed, there has come to you a Messenger from your own, he grieves for your suffering, and is anxious about you, and is gentle, merciful to the believers. (128) Therefore, if they turn away, say: 'Allah is sufficient for me. There is no god except He. In Him I have put my trust. He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne' (129)
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: Repentance (At-Tawba). Sent down in Medina after The Feast (Al-Maa 'edah) before Triumph (Al-Nassr)
