۞ It is He Who created you from a single person, and made his mate of like nature, in order that he might dwell with her (in love). When they are united, she bears a light burden and carries it about (unnoticed). When she grows heavy, they both pray to Allah their Lord, (saying): "If Thou givest us a goodly child, we vow we shall (ever) be grateful." (189) But when He giveth them a goodly child, they ascribe to others a share in the gift they have received: but Allah is exalted high above the partners they ascribe to Him. (190) What! they associate (with Him) that which does not create any thing, while they are themselves created! (191) And they have no power to give them help, nor can they help themselves. (192) It makes no difference whether you call on them or remain silent. If you call them to the right path, they will not follow you. (193) Surely those whom you call on besides Allah are in a state of subjugation like yourselves; therefore call on them, then let them answer you if you are truthful. (194) Have they feet to walk with? Or hands to lay hold with? Or eyes to see with? Or ears to hear with? Say: "Call your 'god-partners', scheme (your worst) against me, and give me no respite! (195) Indeed, my protector is Allah, who has sent down the Book; and He is an ally to the righteous. (196) Those whom you call on besides Him have no power to help you, nor can they help themselves." (197) And if ye call them towards guidance they will not hear and thou wilt behold them looking at thee, but they see not. (198) Cultivate tolerance, enjoin justice, and avoid the fools. (199) If an evil impulse from Satan provokes you, seek refuge with God; He is all hearing, and all knowing. (200) When a satanic thought starts to bother the pious ones, they understand and see the light (201) And their brothers, they prolong them in error, and they will never stop. (202) And when you bring them not a revelation they say: Why do you not forge it? Say: I only follow what is revealed to me from my Lord; these are clear proofs from your Lord and a guidance and a mercy for a people who believe. (203) Whenever the Quran is recited (to you), listen to it quietly so that you may receive mercy. (204) And remember your Lord within yourself humbly and fearing and in a voice not loud in the morning and the evening and be not of the heedless ones. (205) Verily those who are with thy Lord are not stiff-necked against His worship, and they hallow, and unto Him they prostrate themselves. ۩ (206)
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
