Juz 9
۞ He it is Who created you from a single being, and of the same (kind) did He make his mate, that he might incline to her; so when he covers her she bears a light burden, then moves about with it; but when it grows heavy, they both call upon Allah, their Lord: If Thou givest us a good one, we shall certainly be of the grateful ones. (189) But when He gives them a good [child], they ascribe partners to Him concerning that which He has given them. Exalted is Allah above what they associate with Him. (190) Do they associate with Him those who create nothing and are themselves created? (191) Who can neither help them, nor help themselves? (192) It makes no difference whether you call on them or remain silent. If you call them to the right path, they will not follow you. (193) Those whom you invoke besides God are created beings like you. So call on them and let them answer your call, if what you say is true. (194) Have they feet wherewith they walk? Or have they hands wherewith they hold? Or have they eyes wherewith they see? Or have they ears wherewith they hear? Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Call your (so-called) partners (of Allah) and then plot against me, and give me no respite! (195) Surely my guardian is Allah, Who revealed the Book, and He befriends the good. (196) whereas all those whom you invoke in His stead are neither able to give you succour nor can succour themselves; (197) (Muhammad), if you invite them to the right guidance, they will not listen to you. You will see them looking at you but they do not really see. (198) And O dear Prophet (Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) adopt forgiveness, and enjoin virtue, and turn away from the ignorant. (199) If a provocation from Satan should provoke thee, seek refuge in God; He is All-hearing, All-seeing. (200) Indeed, those who fear Allah - when an impulse touches them from Satan, they remember [Him] and at once they have insight. (201) And their brethren increase them in error, then they cease not. (202) And if you do not bring them a miracle [according to their (i.e. Quraish-pagans') proposal], they say: "Why have you not brought it?" Say: "I but follow what is revealed to me from my Lord. This (the Quran) is nothing but evidences from your Lord, and a guidance and a mercy for a people who believe." (203) And when the Qur’an is recited, listen to it attentively and keep silent, so that you receive mercy. (204) Remember thy Lord in thy soul, humbly and fearfully, not loud of voice, at morn and eventide. Be not thou among the heedless. (205) Surely, those who are with your Lord (angels) are never too proud to perform acts of worship to Him, but they glorify His Praise and prostrate before Him. ۩ (206)
True are the words of God the Almighty.
