And (as to) those who reject Our communications, We draw them near (to destruction) by degrees from whence they know not. (182) I give them rein (for) lo! My scheme is strong. (183) Has it, then, never occurred to them that there is no madness whatever in [this] their fellowman? He is only a plain warner. (184) Have they not contemplated the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and everything created by God, (to educe) that perhaps their own term is drawing to a close? In what lore after this would they then believe? (185) Whomsoever Allah sends astray, none can guide him; and He lets them wander blindly in their transgressions. (186) They ask you about the Hour (Day of Resurrection): "When will be its appointed time?" Say: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord (Alone). None can reveal its time but He. Heavy is its burden through the heavens and the earth. It shall not come upon you except all of a sudden." They ask you as if you have a good knowledge of it. Say: "The knowledge thereof is with Allah (Alone) but most of mankind know not." (187) Say: "I have no power over any good or harm to myself except as Allah willeth. If I had knowledge of the unseen, I should have multiplied all good, and no evil should have touched me: I am but a warner, and a bringer of glad tidings to those who have faith." (188)
